The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is offered through the CSUMB Department of Extended Education.  The Nursing Program is open to all RN’s with Associate Degrees in Nursing and who hold a valid California Registered Nursing License.  Priority is given to applicants who are graduates of one of our community college partners (Monterey Peninsula, Cabrillo, Hartnell or Gavilan) OR who work in a health care agency in the tri-county area (Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito).

The BSN degree can be completed in approximately 15 months of full time study.  The curriculum is designed to accommodate working RN's.Classes are held on the CSUMB campus and on-line, and all classes are offered in the late afternoon and evenings, Monday-Thursday.  The usual schedule will require being on campus 2-3 evenings per week. Part time study is permitted.

The "Collaborative Track" in the CSUMB Nursing Program is being discontinued in 2015.

The CSUMB nursing program has been approved by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. 

The application period for admission to the Nursing Program for Spring 2015 is open August 1, 2014 to October 1, 2014.

Program Fees
Tuition for the Nursing program is $350 per credit.
Additional fees include:
● $55 application fee
● $100 Enrollment Confirmation Fee (will be credited to tuition)
● $39 campus fee per semester
● $40 graduation application fee

Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun.
